Junior Cricket & Coaching
Trimpell Cricket Club provide opportunities for young people between the ages of 8 and 18 to receive coaching and competition in the Westmorland League. All coaching is by qualified coaches who are trained and have been screened for their suitability for working with young people.

2012 Team Selection
-
The selection committee will comprise of all captains and the cricket committee [LC,PM,LA,SP]
-
Selection will be made with input from the senior coaches when available and offered
-
No player will be allowed to be selected unless they are registered and have paid appropriate subs by 31st of May
-
Cricket committee will be in-charge of all cricket related items on and off the field.
From 2012 AGM
Any decision regarding quota, juniors playing senior cricket, player assessments will be discussed by the cricket committee and passed to the selection committee for review. In the case of any disagreement then issues can be dealt with by selection committee chairman and mediation or at committee.
Coaches will be working with team captains to get the best results on the pitch.

Coaching Nights
* Mondays: 6:30pm-8pm: Juniors Coaching
* Tuesdays: 6:30pm-8pm: Senior Coaching
* NB: These will be coach lead training sessions.. and will be aimed at improving all aspects of your cricket so be prepared.. nets are available to members on other nights if required [i.e. you just want a knock]
 
Trimpell CC is a focus club for the Lancashire Cricket Board and has acheived the ECB Clubmark standard.
The ECB Clubmark accreditation demonstrates commitment to prioritising junior development and creating a benchmark for high quality community club cricket. [Awarded 2008, Re-accredited Aug'11]
The ECB works with Sport England on the club accreditation scheme ‘Clubmark’ to help to develop a vibrant and healthy club cricket infrastructure. Trimpell CC are members of the local cricket development group and a feeder club for district & regional teams.
  
The club is one of the fastest growing cricket clubs around. 7 years ago they had 2 ageing teams and an evening league team turning out with 8 players. The turnaround has been significant with the club now boasting 3 teams, 1stXI, 2ndXI and 3rdXI, in the Westmorland League, a successful evening league team and a junior section with teams in the Under 10, Under 12, U14 and U16 Leagues.

Group Coaching Sessions are now finished, we will be intouch with juniors over the winter if we can organised some indoor coaching sessions. Please don't forget the awards evening..
